With great cultural attractions, small cafes and buzzing night clubs, it is no wonder that hundreds of people flock to the city every day to experience a part of the world that really is entertaining!

If you are planning a trip to Amsterdam, then it might be worth taking a look at the sights and attractions there are to see before you get there so you can make a list of the places you want to see, to ensure you get the most out of your trip. If it is nightlife and clubs that you are travelling to the city for, then you may wish to read on!

There are a few main clubs in Amsterdam that should be right at the top of your list. All are unique with their own little quirks and features, and all guaranteed to give you a night to remember. We shall start with the club Onassis. You can eat in the evening and then get your dancing shoes on to party the night away. Originally, the building was of industrial origin, and is based on the water front of the river, Ij. To make the most of this river, there is a terrace where you can dine, and enjoy your drinks in the balmy evenings. Among the foods available on the menu, Italian is the main theme, but there are other options you can take. Once then meal is over, and the evening draws on, you can walk over to the dance floors to enjoy the DJ or live music acts that are regularly on.

The next club to mention is one named Rain. A stylish restaurant, come club, it offers foods from all corners of the globe, to suit all flavors and tastes. Again, once you have finished dining and night falls, the club turns into a heaving club with a mixture of music ranging from house, electro and also hip hop, all centered from the DJ booth on the edge of the dance floor.

If it is more famous names that you are looking for, then you should spend the night in the club named Escape. Saturday nights are a particular favorite, and as with most clubs in Amsterdam, there is food available before you start your night. Not only is there a dance floor and DJ booths, there is a lounge and cafe for those who wish to have a bite to eat first.

The Mansion is great for those looking for some style and class, as well as great Chinese food. A great range of music with a glitzy backdrop makes this a must for those that want to eat and feel like a million dollars!

If it's a new club you wish to visit, one of the most exclusive clubs in Amsterdam is Jimmy Woo. It can be difficult to get in this club, so put on your nicest clothes and hit Hollywood in the comfort of this cozy, Hong Kong themed dance hall.

Sinner's is the place to be if you want to see some celebrities. Not only that, but designer furniture and three floors ensure that only celeb royalty feel right at home in this classy joint. It doesn't matter which club you go to in Amsterdam, you will be guaranteed a great night and delicious food. These mentioned are just the tip of the iceberg and all you have to do is look around when you get to the city to see why so many people chose this as a holiday vacation every year!
